Doing Business With Us

 

 

Do you have -or- Can you get watches other than those displayed on Horology411.com?

 

Yes.  After purchasing a watch, it will go to its manufacturer for service, which takes a minimum of 4 weeks, and sometimes up to 8.  This means that we will own a watch for at least a month before it becomes visible.

 

Our various sources give us access to the best pieces available.  If there is something that you would like, but you do not see, please submit your request to Chase@Horology411.com

 

How much is shipping?

 

Shipping within the United States is free.

Shipping to Canada is $100us.

Shipping to the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland is $125us

Shipping to Austraila is $150us

All other international destinations will be calculated on a case-by-case basis.

 

When ordering more than one item at a time, the additional products will ship for free.

 

Are the shipments insured?

 

Yes.  Shipments are always sent fully insured.  There is no additional charge for insurance.

 

How quickly will I receive my order?

 

Please be assured that your items will ship out within two days of cleared payment.  We determine the most efficient shipping carrier and service for your order based on destination and insurance requirements.

 

We will provide you will a tracking number as soon as possible.

Will Horology411 buy my watch -or-  Can I trade in my watch?

 

We are always interested in buying high quality timepieces,.  Whether you are interested in trading in your watch for something different, or want to sell outright, we would would love to hear from you.  Please contact us at Chase@Horology411.com to begin.

 

Payment Options

 

To best serve our customers, we try to accept every feasable form of payment.   We accept:

  • Credit or Debit Cards

  • Wire Transfer

  • Cheque (please note that shipment will take place only when funds have cleared).

  • Cash

 

Tax & Duty

 

California customers will be charged 9% sales tax.  All other US domestic orders are tax-free.

 

International customers will be reposible for any duty, tariff, or tax owed on items as determined by local authorities.

 

Returns & Refunds

 

We make every effort to describe our inventory clearly and thoroughly.. However, if a product received is not to your liking, we require that it be returned within two days of delivery.  We still of course stand behind our pieces for the full extent of the warranty period, which is in most cases a minimum of three years.

 

All credit or debit card refunds will be provided as a credit to the  card used at the time of purchase within five (5) business days upon receipt of the returned merchandise.  All other payments will be refunded by cheque.

 

Secure Ordering

 

Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions.  It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.

 

What is your Privacy Policy -  How will you use my information?

 

We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy.  We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site.  We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited.  When we need to share your information, i.e. for shipment, insurance, warranty, or support reasons, it will be done so responsibly in order to serve your needs.
